About Me

My journey began back in 2009 when I first picked up a dumbbell. I was doing 10 reps of bicep curls in front of the mirror when it struck me that my life is about to take off to a new destination. What first started as a hobby, grew into a passion, even an addiction, and I never thought it would later on become my life’s purpose. Fitness literally changed my life. It transformed the insecure, anxious, anti-social teenager into a person who pursues real connection and growth.

Today, as a personal trainer and coach, I have helped countless individuals take ownership of their lives and see them succeed in their fields. I couldn’t help but smile whenever I look back and see how fitness has opened so many doors and has continued to expand my world beyond my wildest imagination.

My Philosophy

As an American Council on Exercise certified personal trainer, CrossFit L1 trainer and Precision Nutrition L1 coach, my philosophy in fitness is all about function, safety, and efficiency geared towards longevity. This means that the programs I create simply aims to make people move better, safer, and healthier for the rest of their lives. Most importantly, fitness to me is a pursuit of a state where we don’t break amidst obstacles, and instead, become stronger because of the challenges and adversities that we face. A healthy body, therefore, is only one half of the equation.

The mind, which was my number one obstacle growing up, is indeed our most powerful tool towards growth and fulfillment. Having overcome anxiety through fitness, my mission is to demonstrate and embody how the harmony of a calm mind and a resilient body can reform our lives.
